The series was released in Japan in ‘79 and in 1980 in Italy, causing great surprise due to its innovative nature, and meeting with resounding success over the years with millions of fans. The creative universe of Gundam continues to this day, with different series, feature films and special projects that sometimes see Tomino directly involved in directing or supervising. Naohiro Ogata, producer of the Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt series, will also speak at Romics as a special guest.
